NAIA Trust The NAIA Trust is a nonprofit 501 (c) 4 organization established under the Internal Revenue Code to promote responsible animal care and ownership and reasonable laws, policies and regulations to protect animals and the people who care for them.

The pages linked above are an excellent way to begin to see some of the issues faced by responsible Dog owners in the US. Breed specific legislation is not really about specific breeds; often this legislation is the public face of animal rights extremists. It is important to understand the background in order to learn how to successfully prevent BSL and further erosion of the rights we as Americans have taken for granted.
